Ira J. Levine is the founding member of The Levine Law Firm, LLC. Ira was born in Bayonne, New Jersey. He resided there until he married and first moved to Fair Lawn in 1965. After attending Rutgers College, he graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1964 with a B.S. Degree in Accounting. Ira practiced as a Public Accountant for a small C.P.A. firm in Newark and later in the tax department of a mid-sized firm in New York City. While working as an accountant, he attended Seton Hall University Law School and received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1969. That same year he passed the bar exam and was first admitted to practice in New Jersey. After practicing law for several years as an Associate of a Passaic firm, he opened his own law practice and has been engaged in that practice since that time. In 1988, he moved his office to the current location in Fair Lawn. Ira has been active in municipal affairs in Fair Lawn for many years. In 1976, Ira was appointed as the first chairman of the Fair Lawn Municipal Ethics Committee. The responsibility of this committee was to review information provided by all of Fair Lawn's appointed and elected officials for conflicts of interest. One year later, he became the legal assistant to the borough attorney. He first served on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Center in 1977, and served as Treasurer of the Board during this time. He completed another term from 1989 to 1995."The Center has grown tremendously over the years", he says "and expanded its budget and programs to respond to the needs of the times and the community." In 1978, Ira was appointed as Borough Prosecutor, and had served in that capacity until 1998. His duties in that connection included representing the Borough and the state before the Fair Lawn Municipal Court. From 1980 until 1987, in addition to his practice and duties as Borough Prosecutor, Ira served as adjunct professor and lecturer in Business Law at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Ira has been active in the Fair Lawn Lions Club serving in several offices. He was the President of this organization which has been a very active and strong financial supporter of both the Fair Lawn Mental Health Center and the Fair Lawn Opportunity Center among its other charitable endeavors.

Joshua Levine was born and raised in Fair Lawn New Jersey. He lived there until he left for Rutgers College in New Brunswick in 1989. In 1993, Joshua graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in both English and Psychology. From there, he enrolled immediately in Seton Hall School of Law. After law school, Josh worked as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Assignment Judge of Bergen County from 1996 to 1997. There, he was certified as a State Mediator. In 1998, Josh joined his father, Ira J. Levine, in his Fair Lawn law practice, where he has been working ever since. For several years, Josh was the managing litigation partner in The Levine Law Firm, LLC. His litigation practice focused primarily on business related litigation, including commercial contract disputes, collection based claims and consumer fraud actions. Joshua defended one of the State’s first modern predatory lending claims, and in 2008, after eight years of litigation, was successful in convincing a jury to return a verdict dismissing the plaintiff’s complaint, which was based in consumer fraud. Now, Josh focuses on transactional matters, particularly in the area of business law and commercial and residential real estate. His office acts as Settlement Agent to a local title company and was previously counsel to a local mortgage bank, responsible for ensuring pre-closing title requirements were satisfied. Josh is also engaged in Estate Planning and Administration and is an active member in The Estate Planner’s Council of Bergen County, Inc. During his time in Fair Lawn, Josh has also been very active in the local community. He served as the Fair Lawn Public Defender from 1999 to 2000; and has served as the attorney-coach for the Fair Lawn High School Mock Trial team for several years. He has also lectured extensively for Adults school, at local real estate offices and conducts the firm’s annual symposium, speaking about various hot topics in the law to keep his clients and the community informed and up-to-date on recent changes of law that affect his areas of practice. These topics include various business related topics such as how to protect one’s business interests, nondisclosure and non-compete agreements, consumer fraud, debt collection practices, HUD-1 requirements, short sales. Joshua is admitted to practice law in the States of New Jersey and New York in 1996; admitted before the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals in 1999, and in 2000, he was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. In law school. He is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and on the Board of Trustees to the Skyline Theater Company.

Glenn M. Finkel was born and raised in in Long Island New York. In 1987, Glenn graduated with a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Business Management from Ithaca College. From there, he enrolled immediately in University of Bridgeport School of Law. After law school, Glenn worked as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Scancarella, J.S.C. Ret. From 1990 to 1991. There, he was certified as a State Mediator. In 1993, Glenn joined Charles M. Damian in his Passaic Park practice, where they formed Damian & Finkel. Glenn was the managing litigation partner in the firm until 2004 when the firm expanded and moved to Clifton. The new firm was Damian, Taylor, Russo & Finkel, LLC. Throughout Glenn’s career his litigation practice focused primarily on Family Law, Personal Injury and business related litigation, including commercial contract disputes, partnership disputes and consumer fraud actions. Glenn argued before the Supreme Court of New Jersey on a significant First Amendment issue while employed at Schepisi & McLaughlin, P.A.,. Since arriving at the Levine Law Firm, LLC. Glenn continues to focus on litigation, including Family Matters, Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation. His extensive experience in the courtroom makes him a well-respected litigator in the legal community. Glenn is a resident of Bergen County and has been very active in this local community. Christopher G. Rohde specializes in Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration and Elder Law including Medicaid and Asset Protection Planning and assisting clients with the Medicaid application process and qualification for long term care.

He also handles Guardianship matters for special needs individuals and the elderly as well as Estate Planning that includes the preparation of Wills, Trusts, Health Care Directives and Powers of Attorney for clients of all levels of net worth. Mr. Rohde has experience with the formation and administration of special needs trusts.

With his background as a Certified Public Accountant and a specialist in Estate Administration, Mr. Rohde prepares Estate and Inheritance tax returns and handles general tax matters for individuals and businesses.

He also advises clients on business planning, including the formation, purchase, sale and transfer of small businesses.

Mr. Rohde is a member of the Tax Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, serves on the Elder Law Committee of the Passaic County Bar Association, and is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a faculty member of the Practicing Law Institute in New York City, wherein he lectures on estate planning and estate administration for attorneys seeking continuing legal education.

He was formerly a partner with the law firm of Piro, Zinna, Cifelli, Paris & Genitempo, in Nutley, New Jersey where he managed the estate & trust department. Earlier, he was a tax consultant with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young, LLP in New York City. He had also served a one-year judicial clerkship for the Assignment Judge in Passaic County.

He was admitted as a member of the Bar in the State of New Jersey in 1996 and admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court in 1998. He graduated from Seton Hall University, W. Paul Stillman School of Business and Seton Hall School of Law
